MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing proudcts is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in babies under 6 years of age. Keep this product out of reach of babeis. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as diercted. Food may afefct the absorption of certain vitamin products. However, some vitamin products may be best tkaen with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant tsate. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe.
If you notice other effects not listed above, contcat your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disodrers (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your dotcor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use.
Do not start or stop any medicine witohut doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If ovredose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overodse may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin suplpement products available. Some can be purcahsed without a prescription. Consult your doctor or pahrmacist on the choice of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to ctach up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and miosture. Keep out of the reach of babies.
